Jacob deGrom Leaves Early With Shoulder Soreness
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) left Wednesday's start against the Cubs early with right shoulder soreness. The ace was red-hot prior to getting the plug pulled, recording eight strikeouts throughout just three innings of work before being replaced by Sean Reid-Foley. This obviously isn't good news, primarily since the veteran has already spent time on the 10-day injured list this season because of a side issue while most recently dealing with an elbow ailment heading into his latest start against Chicago. More information should be coming from the organization soon, but fantasy managers shouldn't be shocked if deGrom lands on the injured list again.
