Jacob deGrom Ready To Go Against Arizona
7 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom left his last start after only one inning, but his removal wasn’t due to injury, according to the team, but was due to weather-related issues after a rain delay. After missing a start due to a hyperextended right elbow, though, fantasy owners won’t be comfortable with that explanation until we see him back on the mound dominating. On Friday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks, deGrom will look to do just that. Not long ago, the Diamondbacks offense ranked near the top across baseball. However, they started to collectively slump and the loss of outfielder A.J. Pollock for an extended period of time has sunk this team to new lows. Presuming he’s healthy, deGrom should have no issues plowing through the D-Backs lineup on Friday.
