2 years agoNew York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) is scheduled to make a rehab start at Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday. It will be his third rehab appearance. The 34-year-old has thrown precisely 50 pitches in both rehab starts. He pitched well in his last appearance, striking out six over three scoreless innings. deGrom has been sidelined all season as he continues to work his back from a stress reaction in his right scapula. Barring any setbacks, it could be the Mets' ace final rehab start before rejoining the rotation. Fantasy managers could have deGrom right after the All-Star break.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
