Jacob deGrom Shut Down From Throwing After Setback
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (forearm) had a setback in his rehabilitation and has been shut down from throwing for two weeks, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reported Friday. The 33-year-old ace experienced additional inflammation in his right arm, which has sidelined him since the All-Star break, and is now not expected to return to the rotation until September. This is truly a disappointment for fantasy managers since deGrom dominated the first half of the season with a 1.08 ERA over 92 innings pitched.
