Jacob deGrom Starting Minor League Game On Wednesday
7 years agoWith Opening Day a little over a week away, most MLB regulars spend the last few days of spring training ensuring they’re back into their normal daily routine for the season. That includes starting pitcher Jacob deGrom of the New York Mets, who is starting a minor league game on Wednesday. deGrom is working to stretch himself to 90 pitches and is currently slotted to start the Mets second game of the season against the St. Louis Cardinals on March 31. His status was in doubt earlier this spring due to lower back stiffness, but deGrom again looks ready to go and be a fantasy horse once again.
