Jacob deGrom Throwing From 60 Feet
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) recently started throwing and has extended to 60 feet at light intensity. He will undergo further imaging on his right scapula in roughly a week. The Mets moved deGrom to the 60-day injured list earlier in the day, and although he'll be eligible to return in early June, it's his return timetable could stretch into July. The 33-year-old was diagnosed with a stress reaction of his right scapula on April 1, but fantasy managers have to at least be a little encouraged by the fact that he has resumed throwing. The two-time Cy Young winner must remain stashed in all fantasy leagues, as he could go back to being a fantasy ace immediately when he makes his 2022 season debut.
