4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (back) threw a bullpen session on Friday. This keeps him in line to pitch Sunday against the Yankees in an exhibition game and, more importantly, in line to start on Opening Day. Assuming deGrom has no setbacks and gets the green light to pitch Opening Day, DFS players should take note that he will likely be placed on a pitch count. It is also possible that he is limited in terms of innings at the outset of the 2020 season due to the Mets taking a justifiable, cautious approach.
