4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom will make his 2021 Grapefruit League debut Saturday when he faces the Houston Astros. deGrom already appears to be in midseason form during these early days of spring training, having hit 99mph with his fastball last Tuesday. deGrom finished 2020 with a 4-2 record, a 2.38 ERA, a 0.956 WHIP, and a 104:18 K:BB in 68 innings pitched. Heading into 2021, deGrom remains a bona fide fantasy ace who will be a safe bet for elite strikeout totals, league-leading ratios, and wins with a bolstered lineup behind him. deGrom should be one of the first two pitchers taken off of draft boards in all fantasy formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
