3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Friday, essentially ending his 2021 campaign. deGrom is now eligible to come off the IL on September 13 (at the earliest), but it is unlikely the Mets will activate him for the final two weeks of the season based on earlier reports. This is a sad end to what was a historic start to his 2021 campaign. In all likelihood, deGrom will finish 2021 with a 1.08 ERA, a 0.55 WHIP, a 45.1 K%, a 3.4 BB%, and 146 strikeouts over 92 innings pitched in 15 starts. deGrom should be kept in dynasty leagues, but now dropped in all redraft formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
