Jacob deGrom's MRI Shows Continued Healing
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom's (shoulder) MRI exam on Monday showed continued healing in his scapula. He will continue to build distance and velocity in his throwing program, but there remains no timetable for when he'll get back on a mound. It's good news for the 33-year-old two-time Cy Young winner, but fantasy managers won't really have much of an idea on when deGrom will make his season debut until he advances further into his throwing program and gets back to throwing off a mound. The right-hander will likely have to go on an extended minor league rehab assignment as well. Stay patient and continue to keep deGrom stashed on your fantasy benches.
