5 years agoSeattle Seahawks TE Jacob Hollister has drawn praise throughout camp from OC Brian Schottenheimer. It was just last year when Hollister was drawing praise in the Patriots camp and Belichick was quoted saying he had a “great future”. The Pats ended up trading Hollister to Seattle for a seventh round pick, and he may just be the new favorite TE of Russell Wilson. All news out of camp points to him being the best TE to this point and “as impressive as any pass catcher in camp” according to Michael Duggar of The Athletic. Wilson has always loved targeting tight ends, and the position is just as crowded as ever with Dickson, Vannett, and Dissly all ahead of him on the depth chart. It’s still up in the air as to who will emerge as the starter, and Hollister would be my pick as the favorite for passing downs.--RotoBaller
