4 years agoJacob Malkoun ran into the buzzsaw known as Phil Hawes in his debut. Malkoun was undefeated at 4-0 prior to his UFC debut, but he had not really been tested. In just 18 seconds of Octagon time, it makes it hard to really give a good evaluation of a fighter. Hawes was a highly touted prospect, so maybe we'll get a better read on the 25-year-old Australian middleweight his next time in the Octagon. Statistically, Malkoun attempted two strikes but landed neither of them.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
