4 years agoImplementing the perfect game plan when fighting a deadly striker, Jacob Malkoun (5-1) worked his takedown and ground game to take the unanimous-decision victory over Abdul Razak Alhassan on Saturday. Though he only tallied 27 significant strikes through 15 minutes of battle, Malkoun was able to control Alhassan and collect 91 total strikes. The takedown game was the staple of Malkoun's game plan, as he landed eight of his 24 takedown tries. The 11:41 of control time out of 15:00 was exactly what was needed to take this matchup.
