Jacob Markstrom Solid In Losing Effort
6 years agoVancouver Cancuks goaltender Jacob Markstrom allowed two goals on 27 shots during a 2-1 loss to the New York Rangers on Monday night. Markstrom has posted a 7-4-2 record, 3.15 goals-against average, and .900 save percentage this season. The Canucks have had a surprisingly strong start to the season, but continued success is not guaranteed. Markstrom has been very inconsistent as he has allowed at least five goals in five separate starts. He can be avoided in all shallow formats and is a risky goaltending option for managers in deeper leagues.
