Jacob Stallings Exits Game Early On Sunday
4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Jacob Stallings (quad) was removed from Sunday's game with a left quad contusion, according to Rob Biertempful of The Athletic. Stallings was hit by a foul ball while behind the plate, and he had attempted to remain in the game initially before calling for a trainer and walking off the field. Michael Perez entered the game to replace Stallings in the lineup. Stallings has been a solid fantasy catcher this year, slashing .255/.371/.449 with three home runs, 15 RBI and 10 runs scored in 32 games.
