3 years agoThe Atlanta Braves recalled relief pitcher Jacob Webb and optioned relief pitcher Kyle Muller to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, the team announced on Twitter. Muller is coming off his major league debut on Wednesday, where he allowed two runs on four hits with one strikeout in one inning of work against the Red Sox. Webb has struggled earlier this year with the Braves, posting a 5.63 ERA with a 1.875 WHIP and 21.5 percent strikeout rate over 16 innings of work. In his time at Triple-A though, he was sporting a 3.18 ERA and 0.882 WHIP with a 22.7 percent strikeout rate over 5 2/3 innings of work. The only value Webb will have for right now is in deeper SV/HLD formats, otherwise most managers can safely ignore him.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
