Jacoby Brissett Throws For Nearly 300 Yards
3 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Jacoby Brissett continues to be under center with Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) sidelined. He put together a fairly strong performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5. Brissett completed 27-of-39 passing attempts for 275 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the loss. Those 275 passing yards were the most for Brissett since taking over as the starter. However, it could be short lived with Tagovailoa hopefully being able to practice this week. Brissett could be in line for one more start against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. This was a promising outing, so possibly Brissett could be a low-end streaming option for that one.
