Jacoby Brissett Throws One TD In Week 1 Win
2 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 18 of his 34 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown while adding 10 yards on four carries in a 26-24 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. Brissett's first touchdown pass in a Cleveland uniform came on a one-yard completion to Kareem Hunt in the second quarter. Brissett played mistake-free football, although he didn't bring much explosiveness to the table, averaging just 4.3 yards per pass attempt. Week 1's game was an example of how the Browns want to play while Deshaun Watson is suspended as they leaned on the running game to move the chains, thus limiting Brissett's ceiling. Brissett will be a QB3 in fantasy heading into a Week 2 matchup against the New York Jets.
