3 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Jacoby Brissett quickly knocked off the rust during Saturday's preseason contest versus the Chicago Bears. He completed 6-of-10 passing attempts for 67 yards and one touchdown. It was an impressive team debut for Brissett who is competing with second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Although, it seems like Tagovailoa is a lock for the starting job. The organization drafted Tagovailoa to be the future of the team, but Brissett will fill Ryan Fitzpatrick's role of the veteran leader. It wouldn't be shocking to see Brissett get time on the field this season, but it's unlikely he'll surpass Tagovailoa for the starting job at any point.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
