4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder JaCoby Jones (abdominal tightness) left Sunday's game after tweaking his core on a swing. Jones was pushing to stay in the game but manager Ron Gardenhire wasn't having it, replacing the 28-year-old with Harold Castro in the bottom of the third inning. Jones has been the hottest hitter in a suddenly resurgent Tigers' lineup, slashing a ridiculous .342/.405/.763 with eight extra base hits and 10 RBI. Detroit is currently listing him as day-to-day.--Tim Capurso
