7 years agoHouston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) isn't expected to return to action until training camp due to his knee injury that required arthroscopic surgery earlier this year. He has yet to be medically cleared, but sources have emphasized that Clowney's long-term prognosis remains positive. "I think he's doing okay," head coach Bill O'Brien said. "He's in there with the medical team, trying to get better. He's in the meetings and things like that. I think he's progressing." Clowney says he'll be ready to go for the season, but one has to wonder given his lengthy history of injuries. In his first full season of his career in 2017, Clowney impressed with 59 tackles and a career-high 9.5 sacks. The trio of Clowney, J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus form one of the best pass-rushing trios in all of football when they are on the field together. Houston's defense will be a popular fantasy target in 2018, and Clowney should be a high IDP selection, barring any setbacks with his knee this summer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
