Jaguars, Cam Robinson Agree On Contract Extension
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars and franchise-tagged offensive tackle Cam Robinson reached an agreement in principle on a three-year contract extension worth $54 million on Wednesday, according to sources. Robinson will receive $18 million per year. The Jaguars can now ignore left tackle in this week's NFL draft with Robinson locked in for three more years. The 26-year-old was the most consistent player on Jacksonville's offensive line a season ago, and his presence into the future is great news for young quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Robinson will continue to protect Lawrence's blind side after he was originally a second-round selection by the Jags in 2017 out of Alabama.
