Jaguars Choose Press Taylor As Offensive Coordinator
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to terms with Press Taylor on Thursday to be their next offensive coordinator, according to a source. The 34-year-old, who is the brother of Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, will reunite with head coach Doug Pederson from their time together with the Philadelphia Eagles. Taylor spent five years with Pederson in Philly, including one year as the passing-game coordinator. Pederson will be calling the plays in Jacksonville in his first year as the head coach. Taylor spent last season as a senior offensive assistant for the Indianapolis Colts. He'll play a big part in the development of last year's No. 1 overall pick, quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who struggled in his first season in the NFL.
