Jaguars Could Trade Up For Left Tackle
5 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars reportedly continue to discuss a possible trade up with the Detroit Lions for the third overall pick, says NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Jaguars are interested in taking one of the draft's top left tackles, particularly Georgia's Andrew Thomas. Thomas would shore up the offensive line and help protect second-year quarterback Gardner Minshew while opening rushing lanes for whoever starts at running back for the Jaguars this year. Whether or not a deal happens depends on a lot of factors, but offensive line should be a priority for Jacksonville even if a trade up doesn't materialize.
