7 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars did not exercise defensive end Dante Fowler's fifth-year option for the 2019 season, according to a source. However, the team likes Fowler's long-term prospects and could approach a long-term deal with him eventually. Jacksonville likely wants to see if Fowler can repeat his eight-sack season from 2017 after he had only four sacks in 2016.
