Jaguars Finding No Takers For No. 1 Pick
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars are still hoping that they can find a way to trade the No. 1 overall pick of the NFL draft, but they continue to find no takers, according to a league source. The Jaguars said last week that they've narrowed their field of potential first overall picks to four players. General manager Trent Baalke said last week at a pre-draft press conference that no teams have called about trading up to first overall, but that doesn't mean it won't happen on Thursday night. There has been no indication that the Detroit Lions at No. 2, the Houston Texans at No. 3, the New York Jets at No. 4, or any other team that is solid on one particular player to make the move. If the Jags keep the No. 1 overall pick, they're expected to take either Michigan's Aidan Hutchinson or Georgia's Travon Walker.
