3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars are working on a deal on Tuesday to hire former Tampa Bay Buccaneers inside linebackers coach Mike Caldwell as their new defensive coordinator, according to sources. Caldwell is a former teammate and fellow assistant coach with head coach Doug Pederson. After 14 years as a defensive assistant, Caldwell will become a defensive coordinator in the NFL for the first time. He played 11 seasons as a linebacker in the NFL and was a teammate of Pederson's in 1999 with the Philadelphia Eagles. The two also coached for the Eagles from 2009-12. Caldwell spent the last three seasons in Tampa and has also coached for the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
