3 years agoFormer Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is set to be waived, per Jamal St. Cyr of News4Jax. Treadwell, a former first-round draft choice of the Minnesota Vikings, has struggled to find opportunities at the NFL level over the last few seasons. Treadwell's release bodes well for Collin Johnson, and to a lesser extent, Tavon Austin. Should Johnson make the team, he looks like the presumptive favorite for the Jaguars No. 4 receiver job with Treadwell and Phillip Dorsett II out of the picture. Treadwell's fantasy prospects are practically nonexistent with Week 1 fast approaching, and it would be a surprise if he made any team's 53-man roster.--Casey Kamholz
