Jahan Dotson Taken By Commanders In First Round
3 years agoThe Washington Commanders selected Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night. Dotson was named to the first-team All-Big Ten team in his senior season and will pair nicely with Terry McLaurin in D.C. He has elite speed and will give quarterback Carson Wentz a deep threat in his rookie season, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect too much from Dotson too quickly. Dotson played 23.7% of his snaps out of the slot in 2021, but he projects as more of a traditional receiver that will occasionally see snaps out of the slot for Washington. He checks in at 5-foot-11 and 184 pounds, so Dotson could struggle initially at the next level.
