4 years agoMontreal Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen will start Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. Allen is a reliable backup with a record of  3-1-0 while allowing just eight goals on 114 shots. He has a goals-against-average of 2.02 and a .930 save percentage. The 30-year-olds last outing resulted in a 5-3 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on February 2nd. The Fredericton, New Brunswick native, has spent most of his playing career with the St. Louis Blues before coming over to Montreal in the off-season. Once again, Allen and the Canadiens will be facing a struggling Ottawa Senators team who have a record of 2-8-1.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
