3 years agoMontreal Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen endured another long, rough night in goal on Monday. Against the Vancouver Canucks, Allen stopped 40 of 42 shots. Vancouver ultimately held on to win 2-1. Though that dropped the goaltender's record to 5-10-1, his save percentage improved and his goals-against average dipped a hair under 3.00. The goaltender has to be exhausted and that did become a bit more evident as the game wore on. He has faced 92 shots in the last two starts. It would not surprise anyone if Allen gets some extra rest before Thursday's home meeting versus Colorado.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
