3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta tossed five innings in Wednesday's no-decision versus the San Diego Padres. Arrieta allowed four hits, one run, one walk and struck out six on the afternoon. Arrieta was really struggling over his last two starts, but made a nice stride forward with Wednesday's performance. The veteran is now 5-6 with a 4.97 ERA. Arrieta will look to continue trending up versus the New York Mets on Tuesday.
