3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta continued his struggles in Wednesday's contest versus the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cubs gifted Arrieta with seven runs in the top of the first inning, but the veteran was unable to do much with that. Arrieta was only able to last 1 2/3 innings and he allowed four hits, six runs (three earned), four walks and struck out two. The veteran has had a rough return in his second stint with the Cubs and he now owns an ugly 5.57 ERA. Arrieta shouldn't be trusted in any format at the moment and he will look to put together a better performance against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
