Jake Arrieta Picks Up Another Loss
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta put together another disappointing start in Saturday's loss versus the Miami Marlins. Arrieta only went three innings in the contest and allowed six hits, six runs (four earned), zero walks and struck out five on the afternoon. The veteran had a nice month of April, but it has been all downhill since. Arrieta now has a 8.25 ERA over four starts in June. The veteran on the season is now 5-8 with a 5.45 ERA. Arrieta should be avoided against a tough Los Angeles Dodgers offense on Friday.
