4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta suffered his fourth loss of the season on Wednesday versus the Washington Nationals. Arrieta only last five innings and allowed seven hits, four runs, two walks and struck out two on the evening. The veteran has been solid in his return to the Cubs and has only allowed over three runs in two of his eight starts. Arrieta is now 4-4 with a 4.46 ERA. The veteran will look to get back in the win column against the Pittsburgh Pirates in a favorable matchup on Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
