3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Jake Arrieta (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday with a left hamstring strain, according to AJ Cassavell of MLB.com. Arrieta had exited his start on Wednesday with what was described as a mild hamstring strain, as he lasted only 3 1/3 innings in his first outing with San Diego. He hadn't looked very good prior to the injury — allowing five runs on seven hits and one walk — and at this point there's no reason he should be rostered in any format.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
