4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jake Arrieta will make his season debut Monday night at the Yankees, according to Jim Salisbury. The Phillies have only played three games this season due to playing the Marlins Opening Weekend, just prior to the Marlins' COVID-19 outbreak. Their schedule will resume Monday in New York and the team will roll with the 34-year-old righty, who did not pitch in the Miami series. Arrieta is more name than game at this point in his career, he pitched to a 4.64 ERA with a 4.89 FIP and just 7.3 K/9 last season.
