5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jake Arrieta (elbow) said he's unsure if he is healthy enough to continue pitching through a bone spur in his elbow. After Sunday's loss to the Giants Arrieta said he doesn't want to make a decision and will address his elbow injury Tuesday after the off day. Arrieta was off to a nice start this season but has clearly been impacted by trying to pitch through the elbow injury. He hasn't posted a quality start since June 19 and has a 5.73 ERA in nine starts since. At this point, Arrieta is doing more harm than good in fantasy lineups and shouldn't be started unless he goes on the injured list and gets healthy.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
