Jake Bauers Steals Base Sunday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman/outfielder Jake Bauers got the start in right field batting batting ninth against the New York Yankees Sunday, and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base, his second of the season. Bauers has seen his playing time dip of late, with just 32 at-bats in his last 15 games, and he isn't earning much more with his .466 OPS in that span. He offers a bit of everything, but only a bit, earning him a spot on the waiver wire.
