3 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Jake Browning completed only 2-of-8 passes for 41 yards in the team's final preseason matchup against the Chiefs. This was Browning's opportunity to claim the QB2 role on the team from rookie Kellen Mond and the results were not pretty. The Vikings coaching staff praised Browning consistently at the beginning of camp but his play throughout the preseason has dimmed that optimism. The Vikings may name Mond at this point to serve as the backup for Week 1.--Joey C - RotoBaller
