5 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Jake Cave recorded three hits in three at-bats of Thursday's tie with the Blue Jays. Cave doubled twice and homered to right field in the top half of the third inning. The 27-year-old is looking at the role of utility outfielder- though that could come with decent fantasy value- especially if starting center fielder Byron Buxton isn't fully recovered from shoulder surgery by Opening Day. In two big league seasons, Cave has compiled a 162-game average of 21 home runs, 27 doubles, and 70 RBI with a .262/.329/.466 slash line.--Tim Capurso
