Jake Cave Turns In Career Game Sunday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins center fielder Jake Cave had a career day against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday. Cave went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double, a run scored, and three RBI to help down the Angels 7-5. Cave, who was just promoted from Triple-A on Saturday to help in the outfield with Byron Buxton injured, certainly made his presence felt on Sunday. The rookie outfielder now has two homers, five RBI, and a .286 average in 14 at-bats this season. He should continue to play semi-regularly until the Twins are at full strength. He doesn't need to be owned in standard fantasy formats.
