3 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth went deep Sunday, hitting a two-run home run off of Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen. It was his 17th of the year. Cronenworth went 1-for-3 with two walks, three RBI, and a run scored in this one. Cronenworth has stepped into the shortstop position since Fernando Tatis Jr. reinjured his shoulder, and he remained there now that Tatis Jr. has seemingly been shifted to the outfield. Cronenworth's eligibility all over the infield only increases his value, but the 17 homers, 77 runs, 58 RBI, and four steals would be plenty valuable at any position.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
