3 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth isn't in the starting lineup on Saturday. The Padres will take on the Atlanta Braves and right-hander Huascar Ynoa but will do so with one of their best hitters on the bench. Cronenworth is batting .266 with a .342 on-base percentage, 20 home runs, and four stolen bases in 614 plate appearances this season. Eric Hosmer is starting at first base on Saturday after Cronenworth got the start there on Friday. Hosmer is batting .269 with a .337 on-base percentage, 11 home runs, and five stolen bases in 541 plate appearances this season.
