3 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth went 2-for-5 with a double, stolen base and two runs scored Monday against the Washington Nationals. The 2021 All-Star singled and swiped his fourth bag in the first inning before coming around to score in his next two trips, reaching base via error then roping his 19th double. The 27-year-old continues his brilliant sophomore campaign, slashing .280/.354/.464 with 12 homers and 94 runs-plus-RBI to accompany the steals. He leads the Friars with 90 knocks over 365 plate appearances. Making the occasional start at first base for a scuffling Eric Hosmer, Cronenworth's counting stats and positional versatility should benefit fantasy squads of all sizes.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
