3 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth stung a pinch-hit solo home run Wednesday against the Colorado Rockies. Cronenworth interrupted his off day by rounding the bases in the sixth frame, staying in the contest to finish 1-for-2. The 27-year-old's numbers have dipped of late, hitting just .216 in June (11-for-51) with three extra-base hits. However, he's supplied steady fantasy production as a middle infielder, slashing .272/.338/.412 with seven homers, three steals and 63 runs-plus-RBI over 289 plate appearances.
