Jake Cronenworth Ties Game With Homer In Ninth
3 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth played hero Saturday night, delivering a game-tying two-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning off Philadelphia Phillies starter Aaron Nola. It was Cronenworth's only hit in four at-bats as Nola was dominant through the first eight innings. Cronenworth now has 19 homers, four steals, 82 runs scored, and 61 RBI on the season to go with a robust .839 OPS. He may be the most valuable San Diego player in fantasy beyond Fernando Tatis Jr.
