7 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jacob Faria (oblique) will likely be out at least 6-8 weeks, according to manager Kevin Cash. It sounds like the Rays don't realistically expect Faria back until August. He suffered an obilque strain during his start against the Red Sox on Tuesday. Faria has some ugly stats at first glance, but is believed to be a big part of the Rays future rotation. It sounds like it is safe to drop Faria in just about every format.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
