2 years agoDallas Cowboys rookie fourth-round tight end Jake Ferguson has a chance to get early playing time in 2022 if he can show that he's able to consistently block at the NFL level. Ferguson was a solid pass-catcher in college, and the Cowboys need a second tight end to step up alongside Dalton Schultz now that Blake Jarwin is no longer on the roster. Ferguson has impressive short-area athleticism as well and will be fighting for the No. 2 job in training camp this summer. However, it's notoriously difficult for rookie tight ends to make an impact in their first season in the NFL, so it's unlikely that the 23-year-old will make much of a fantasy impact in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
