Jake Fraley Getting Closer To A Return
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley (hamstring) has been out of the lineup since April 7, when he was placed on the injured list with a strained left hamstring. He is now hitting in the cages, and has begun running and playing catch. At the time of his injury, Fraley had a robust .526 OBP, largely supported by eight walks. During his absence, the Mariners have run a disappointing cast of characters out in left field, including Jose Marmolejos, Taylor Trammell, and Sam Haggerty. Fraley's return would be very welcome, but Jarred Kelenic is not far from promotion, so there may not be much playing time for Fraley. There's no need to hold him on fantasy rosters.
